“All the Green on the Avondale Scene”

Avondale is a community filled with beautiful trees, many of which have identifying markers purchased by AEGC and installed by some of our AEGC members. We have the lovely assets of Lake Avondale, Willis Park and the Town Green. In addition to those spaces, Avondale has a host of other parks and public spaces. To kick off the new year, we’ll take a virtual tour through these public spaces and learn their uses from Avondale Estates Greenspace Manager, Adrian Langston.

Adrian Langston is the City’s first Greenspace Manager, acting as a steward for the public spaces and public trees. Prior to arriving in Avondale, he was Urban Trees Manager at Trees Atlanta, working on large scale tree planting projects for the BeltLine and downtown Atlanta. Before Trees Atlanta, he worked in private landscaping in the metro area.
